11/15/2011
East Tennessee Children’s Hospital has been awarded the Merit Award from the Web Health Award competition for its regional pediatric healthcare website, www.etch.com, which was created by In10sity Healthcare. The Web Health Award competition is organized by the Health Information Resource Center. Now entering its 13th year, the goal of the Web Health Awards is to recognize high-quality digital health resources for consumers and health professionals.
East Tennessee Children’s Hospital and its website serve children and their families throughout the East Tennessee region. Known for its open-door policy and dedicated pediatric staff, families rarely need to travel outside of East Tennessee to receive specialized care for their children.
“Creatively, In10sity Healthcare and the new site are great. Pages are fun, colorful, child-friendly and professional at the same time, perfectly appropriate for East Tennessee Children’s Hospital. We are very pleased to have our website win the Merit Award in the Web Health Award competition.” said Ellen Liston, Community Relations Director of East Tennessee Children’s Hospital.
In10sity Healthcare provides specialized web solutions for healthcare professionals and large healthcare systems nationwide. “The East Tennessee Children’s Hospital website is a great example of our work, and we are very proud of it,” said Ross Croley, CEO of In10sity Healthcare. “Over the past several years we have refined our service and product offerings to provide websites to hospitals that are easy to use and practical for those using them.”
