Murray State College has a rich history in southern Oklahoma and is proud to offer top-notch educational programs. With campuses in both Tishomingo and Ardmore, Murray State College is ideally located to serve the needs of the broader community. Thanks to their small-town atmosphere, anyone can feel at home on the Murray State College campus, and the goal was to extend that experience to the website, including making it accessible to everyone.

Challenges

“User-friendly,” “interactive,” “modern,” and “easy to edit” were not words that came to mind when Murray State College thought about their website and content management system. Their site was outdated, had inadequate templates and was difficult to update. They needed a website that could be their primary marketing tool as well as a lasting first impression for potential students.

Solutions

Keeping in mind that this site would be the primary marketing tool for Murray State College, laying out a solid framework for the website design was an important first step for this project. After assessing all of the content and graphic needs for the site, our designers collaborated with them to provide a comprehensive, responsive design that included areas for marketing messages, news, calendars, and social media. 

Bringing the design to life, their new site was built within InnovateCMS™ to give administrators the ability to update page content, graphics, news articles and much more with ease! With varying levels of administrator access and custom designed page templates, each department of Murray State College could edit their own pages with confidence.
